The rules
- Free: 3 rewrites in total, for life. Each rewrite takes up to 500 words. You do not need to sign in.
- Paid: each rewrite takes up to 3,000 words.
- Plan words are for the current period. Unused plan words do not carry over.
- Word-pack words do not expire. Plan words are used first, then pack words.
- A rewrite uses the number of words in the text you pasted. A rewrite that fails uses nothing.
- You can cancel any time and use the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
- Plans renew automatically until you cancel. There is no free trial that turns into a paid plan.
- Refund: within 7 days of your first purchase, if you used fewer than 2,000 words. See the refund policy.
Pricing questions
Do the free rewrites come back each day?
No. You get 3 free rewrites in total. Each one counts against your device, your network and, if you are signed in, your account. When any of them reaches 3, free rewrites stop. On a shared network, such as an office or a school, other people may have used them up.
Does signing in give me more free rewrites?
No. Signing in does not change the free allowance. You need an account to buy a plan or a word pack, so the words follow you to other devices.
How are words counted?
By the number of words in the text you paste, whatever rewrite level you pick. Writing samples do not use your words. If a rewrite fails, nothing is taken.
What happens to words I do not use?
Plan words are for the current period and do not carry over. Word-pack words stay until you use them.
Can I cancel a plan?
Yes, at any time. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you ask within 7 days of your first purchase and have used fewer than 2,000 words. The refund policy has the details.
